On the tenth anniversary of the Taliban's destruction of the Bamyan Buddhas, it will be decided whether to go ahead and reconstruct the famous statues with the fragments that remain. The people of Bamyan tell us it's important that the world never forgets the dark days of the Taliban regime in their province.
Does this sort of remind you of what people said about the World Trade Center before 9/11...

Why didn't the Taliban come back to stop UNESCO from rebuilding/preserving the site? Chicken?
