Cagan Sekercioglu Bungee Jumping at the Victoria Falls, on the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe

World's second highest bungee jump at 111 meters (about 400 feet). The best bungee location in the world. You jump over the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe, so technically you are not in any country, but in no-man's-land. After the jump, I went to the video editing shack on the hill to choose a good song. The guy had chosen "Free Fallin'" for the soundtrack, but fortunately I managed to change it to Breathe by Prodigy.

You jump into the mighty Zambezi River, a grade 5 rafting river. The narrow canyon makes you feel the speed, the terror of the fall is unequaled, and feeling the bungee cord getting taut is the best feeling in the world. To make sure the bungee cord would not slip off my ankles, they wrapped them in towels, which did not give me much confidence, but they did the job. With my ankles tied, I could not jump the way I planned, but at least I jumped. They guy before me was boasting he had bungee jumped before, but when the time came, he went white, and after three tries, he decided he could not do it.

After the bungee jump, I did riverboarding, where you go through grade five rapids holding on to a half meter foam board. There were times I was held under water for 15 seconds. After that washing machine experience, rafting those rapids feels like sitting in a couch.
