Learn how to play this classic tune right now! Ya know what?
George and the Delaware Destroyers were friends with Jimmy Thackery and the Nighthawks. While touring in the 1970s, the Destroyers and the Nighthawks happened to be playing shows in Georgetown (DC) at venues across the street from each other. The Destroyers were playing at The Cellar Door, the Nighthawks at Desperados. At midnight, by prior arrangement, while both bands played the same song ("Madison Blues") in the same key (E), George and Jimmy left their clubs, met in the middle of M street, exchanged guitar cables and went on to play with the opposing band! Imagine sitting at the bar talkin' to the cute barkeep, trying to get her phone number. You have a few belts and turn around to look at the stage and you think to yourself..."Where did George go?...this guy Jimmy rocks too...or is my mouth gettin' dry. You know when your mouth is gettin' dry...your pretty high."

  • Nice video man, lol love the energy! i think having an ear for music AND knowing how to read music(with bit of theory) can make a really good musician...but either way has it's advantages.

....i don't know why but i always have the urge to wanna clip those strings when people leave it like that on the tuners o_O lol

  • good job adam we got to get this music thing rolling
