I feel I'm a sprite, dancing in Tom Wait's garden after midnight... really I'm in the sweet, sweaty, living room of my apartment, dancing with ebb and tide just in jeans, barefeet and bracelets... and closed eyes, emotion...

Tom carries a song like an emotion you weren't sure you wanted anyone to know about, and drags it lucidly but wet, down a mountain of hope... into a question mark. Leaves you there, walks off stage... I will appreciate his existence forever.

I have to stop whatever I'm doing whenever this song comes on. Waits' imagery is haunting yet magical here. It took a while for me to really get into Waits, but I'm a true fan now. This song I think displays a high point in his song-writing abilities.

And now, here I am, as audience. Asking the artist, you, to clarify the words he wrote.

Now it seems that you cant explain it, because you choose to call me godless and a pessimist. As if its even relatable. Also you start to poeticly describe the situation instead of telling me the point of the first 'poem'. Also you say i make YOU seem pointless, because i criticize a poem you wrote in, probaly, 5 minutes. I never meant to give you the feeling you didnt matter in this world.

You see, This is a comment with contents. Very wise words indeed.

But if you say that im wrong, and that collection of fancy words at the top truly has a meaning, i ask you to clearify it.

An artist is glad to explain the meaning of his words. Because he wrote it with an intention. An intention he likes to get across to his audience.

Therefore, I dont feel that its an effort to reach out or express or connect to waits artistry. I believe it was a couple of 'pseudo-poetic' sentences following up to eachother. To fool people into giving thumbs up.

But if you beg the differ, i kindly ask you to explain the poetry. Cause if you really meant to be poetic, i dont want to offend you or anything.
