Part 1 of creating the Weighted Companion Cube from the game Portal using 3ds Max. I am using 3ds Max 2009 but the same techniques will apply to 2008, 2010, 2011, ... and... I'm sure any previous version that lets you convert objects to editable polys.

  • do you still have this mesh save?if so, can you scale it down so the inside fits 87mm, I want to use it to print out a case to put in the raspberry pi.

    Thanks for the tutorial. Helped a lot. Had to start over at one point as something went wrong for some reason. Got it the second time. Im surprised the tutorial hasnt got as much views as it should have done.
