There are now two Mike Leigh box sets (one of the BBC stuff the otherfeaturting all the movies) on sale. Picture quality is great and the one with High Hopes contains 10 movies and comes in at a bit over 40 quid. Bargain.

It's been available on dvd for a while now mrpig - from £3.98 on Amazon or The Guardian promo from 99p on Ebay.

This is one of my all time favorite films. I have an old, washed-out vhs copy that I watch several times a year. When are they going to put it out on DVD?
