Stevie Ray Vaughn had nothing to to with Pipeline, though that is obviously the only version you seem to be familiar with. You guys are young, have talent, and good timing. So go find the version put out by The Ventures in the 1960's. Work out your own play style from there. They were the most successful instrumental rock band of all time.
