Your so sweet! Things will be up and down for life. You just have to work through it, and enjoy the highs as a break. Mom's are always lost for words when we open up to them. I'm happy for you.

I jumped to this video after watching your first and I have to say, there is a BIG difference! You've made good progress :)

Do you have a boyfriend?

i think it's a wise decision to not talk about it with friends... from my experience, topics like personal anxieties can be really draining when constantly talked about, especially when everyones just trying to enjoy an evening

you're going to be okay..:) Your a sstrong chick.

Which uni are you at? i went to Southampton. Nice place, but sadly it didn't work out for me :(
Following on from the previous comments, the belief that you are separate is the beginning of suffering. Your mind thinks it is running the show; it isn't! When you think something bad is going to happen, you think its happening to you. Actually, it is just what happens. Try and locate this person you identify with, you may be surprised what you don't find!

Thank you for your comments! I remember doing something like this in philosophy and I think it's a really good way to look at things as yourself being part of the world, rather than you are against the world kind of thing. Thanks for sharing =D

that's great about you mustering up the courage to tell your mom. I think it really helps to have someone close to talk to about SA. I go through these low points as well- usually once a week and I find it so hard to get up as well..but anyways I think your mom is absolutely right about everyone having social anxiety to some degree-this makes it more of a personalized obstacle that one is capable of overcoming. But yea, keep up the fight & stay hopeful, good luck w/ your studies...

Thanks for the comment! I think you're right, the way that everyone at some point in their life experiences social anxiety to some degree can be quite helpful.
