  • Any updates on removal of the floss.... I am particularly interested in how you removed it from B's locs...Thanks

  • @qochemist - it was a bit time consuming to get them out, so it is good to put them in planning to leave them in for awhile. Than it is worth the effort :) I just snipped at some of the knots, and I would slide about 4 knots down the loc and pull the loc through. I did NOT untie each knot, that would have been even more of a pain. It was slow going, but it wasn't that bad.

  • i used to use lanyard to make this pattern for key chains..we called it the chinese staircase

  • Cool. You can get a similar effect faster by braiding the stands or doing Ghana twists with the floss. You'd probably need more than a double piece though. The take down is a lot faster as well.
