@stevensj13 it needs a valve adjustment mine did the same or it may even need new valves and the darn is prob real gummed up

Looks like there are some knowladgeable people here. I am looking at an 07 KX250F for $1500. Bike is absolutely mint, except it backfires every kick for 4 or 5 kicks, and eventually it will fire up for about 5-10 seconds and runs "like a 2 stroke" as the guy put it, and dies out. I was thinking timing.... maybe it needs valve shims?

@g420champ same problem with my bike turned out i need to adjust the valve and it runs awesome now

@g420champ its a carb problem, either lack of fuel or too much fuel, check your plug and see if its soaked....

@g420champ check your valve clearances and all connections to the airbox and carb,if all good there then its time to get into the carb probly a blocked pilot jet

Sorry about the sound guys I have no idea what is wrong, nor do I have the original file anymore, as I uploaded this almost 4 years ago. What I do know is that I just watched it on my iPhone and there was perfect audio. Anyone know if I can save it somehow off my phone and re upload it or anything like that? Because if not then we are all just SOL I guess, sorry.

To be honest, I have no idea where the sound went or how to fix it. It was fine when I looked at the video 6 months ago, and I haven't changed anything since then. Any ideas anyone?
