I love this song....it reminds me of the time when my dearest wife left me...and broke my heart...something from which I will never truly recover from......The song is about sadness and how to try to build one's life back together again after a severe trauma...at least thats what I read into....She is the MOST under rated singer of all time!!! Better than all these Pixie shit Lotts etc

@xamyvictoriax Poor you...its very very sad...how those whom we think will be there for us and will protect us and love us through thick and thin.....turn out to be the ones who hurt us the most. Songs do help in such times, help one evaluate one's feelings and emotions....I actually remarried.she is a good decent girl....but that hurt will never truly ever leave me. I am finding I am really drawn to all Narina's songs and her beautiful voice. Booked to see her in Glasgow in October. Can't wait!

Requiem is a part of a funeral, so I guess it means something like love is the only way to remember a beloved one, but it doesn't let you to move on. As if it would be compulsory. I'm not English, so I can't explain it better, but I hope I could help.

@khorrumg Completely agreed! Nerina's voice has substance, is different, and her lyrics convey meanings that people can use to help them get through difficult times - the song helped me too :) . Brilliant song, should've been a big ht and a lot more famous than it is. My second fave song from Fires, after Idaho.
