This was one of three pieces I played during a mass at the Church of the Wayfarer.
This was around a month after I played it at the Bach Festival, so I kind of forgot it! X)
That's why I didn't play it memorized. =P
I love the piece though!

  • great job!!!!!! you probibly love the clarinet... i want to learn this pice hahaha sounds nice espicially the realy high notes you got those down pretty dang good thats what i have problems with my sound keeps wavering... but it's slowly getting better lol good job though

  • @joejonaslovers4: Thanks! Yeah, this piece is great, and the notes actually aren't as high as you think.

I recommend keeping a high tongue for high notes in general though, and don't blow as hard. High notes actually need less air than lower notes, they just need more air pressure, which comes from the high tongue.

As for the wavering sound, long tones always nice :D

  • Thanks! Appreciate it.

  • Where do i find this arrangement? (for clarinet)

  • You can just search for a compilation of Bach transcriptions for clarinet; pretty much all transcriptions have this piece in them. Or if you want a fun version, you can get Richard Stoltzman's arrangement of the piece.
