You may want to place a gyroscopic weight inside being spun in the reverse direction as the blower fan as a counter balance to the rotation that the frame would get from the motor the blower is run on. For stability purposes.

Coanda method takes up too much space. xcopter is more practical.

The coanda method does us a lot of surface, and that has weight, and drag. But I wouldn't say an Xcopter (a helicopter that can fix its rotor to become a wing) is more practical. The coanda method is a very simple and safe construction. If you look at the construction and aerodynamics of a helicopter, it's hard to believe it will fly, especially forward flight seems impossible (if you never saw it for real). But it flies.
