  • What program did you use to edit THIS video?

  • @Steven9x0 Camtasia. U can download a free 30 day w/ techsmith

  • Charles. I'm sorry, but I did not get much out of this video. What I needed was you doing the editing while you explain the different things that can be done and what each one looks like. Maybe all that is in the second video.

  • @JanisArvids This was a basic tutorial to teach the workflow of the program. Not a detailed play by play of each effect and function.

  • hi charles, i'm new to mac & i LOVE it! your tutorials on iMovie have been very useful & needless to say, i already subscribed to your channel.

i have a question, does iMovie support .MOV? i'm going on an excursion & will take some video but my P&S camera only records in .MOV. can iMovie edit it directly or i'll need to get a converter. if so, which do you suggest? (preferably free app).

thanks & plzzzzzzz do more tutorials on other mac apps! :)

  • @alrhazes Thank you soo much for the support!! It sure does. .Mov files were created by Apple in the early 90's so all Mac's can read and edit that format especially in iMovie since apple created that too!! For this you won't need an app. :D

  • Can you change the lengths of the clips when using the templates?

  • I need help. For some reason my viewer no longer shows video from my timeline when I mouse over the clips. It only shows when I mouse over the clips in the bottom section.

  • Excellent info - looking forward to the rest in the series. I've already learned a few things I didn't realize earlier.

  • Thanks for this! Very helpful!

  • Love all three tutorials in this basic series - the detail and clarity of the screen shots and narration were very helpful for locating and using all these very cool features. Thanks for your tutorials.
