Already gone - Dana Scully [DSR]

This is the first time in a few months now that i've uploaded a DSR or anything related to The X-Files in awhile now. I have always loved the show and love this possible "future" couple and I thought of making a video to this song for them for awhile now but never sat down and got to it. I actually started this video about a month ago and just now decided to finish it all at once. It's about Scully loving Doggett but knowing that in reality, with her morals getting in the way of how she has a child with Mulder, that things with her and Doggett cannot continue. Sad, I know, but it actually does fit their scenario.

I've missed this pairing! I do ship Mulder/Scully, but also DSR majorly on the side. Even though I don't think she loves him like that. I do think she has a major soft spot and her feelings for him could've grown deeper had Mulder never come back. And it's so obvious, at least to me that Doggett wanted more than just friendship with her. So tragic. And well, I love angsty romance and the possibility of it. Great vid!)

aww it was sad! I love this song as I can relate to it myself :( great clip choices :) I never felt like Doggett loved Scully the way many do, but I think he had a lot of respect for her and felt like it was his place to protect her. But that of course is what's great about AU's :) I liked this alot!

@TheXfiles1993 Aww, thank you so much! Yes, I read somewhere, I think TV Guide, when the show was still on the air, that Doggett was in love with her.

@mskimber85 I didn't see that but I always go by Chris and Frank and I haven't heard them confirm it. Have you anywhere? I'd like to see it if they have. :)

@TheXfiles1993 Frank was always the one that was more open about a DSR relationship and I know that it was RP that actually said that in TV Guide. I know a friend of mine bought a script from an episode and it had this: "If Mulder's safety is Doggett's paramount desire, his desire for Scully is always at war with his honor."

Lovely vide...I always thought at least he was in love w her...but them being a couple would have been the most realistic version of a future for Scully...her and Mulder were amazing but it was just never meant to be in the way we all wanted...

Gillian Annderson is sooo pretty in all of these clips...stunning!

Well I'm not sure the idea of Scully being in love with Doggett ever fit the scenario. It's true that Doggie developed feelings for Scully, despite himself and that was obvious. But the idea of Scully falling in love with Doggie is extremely remote if not impossible. She loved Mulder too much and there was no way Doggie could ever take his place in her heart. She did develope a respect for Doggie and learn to trust him as a partner, but feelings beyond that were strictly on Doggie's part
