Egyptian movie star and activist (He has been called the Brad Pitt of Egypt.) spoke at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. on 11/1/2011. He produced and was the star of the award winning film, 'Microphone'. The movie highlights the Alexandria Egypt Hip Hop and art culture scene that was thriving just before the revolution. Real musicians and graffiti painters were cast in the film. Naga gives these young people credit for inspiring the revolution. When the demonstrations began in Cairo, Khaled took a camera and recorded as much of it as he could. He also participated in the protests. Today he is a spokesman for the movement. During his presentation he showed clips from 'Microphone' his new documentary about the revolution. He also listed the main points of the 18-day struggle against the repressive Mubarak regime. He outlined what is needed now to insure that the democratic ideals of the Egyptian people can be realized.
