  • Back when music was good....

  • This song was a wonderful collaboration between 2 great musicians! And back in those days, they made many of these fun, uplifting songs! I truly miss that on so many levels! Sincerely, BobbyK Thanks for the good music, Clarence Clemons! BobbyK

  • Check our REMIXED BACKING TRACK from this song on our channel and website!

  • Looking back to February 1986 when "You're A Friend Of Mine" reached the peak of the U.S. Billboard singles chart: I was just 20 years old, hung out with good friends like Duane Lohse & Jim Gabelmann, & went to an establishment in Milan, Illinois called "Razz-Ma-Tazz Pizza & Game Parlor". Man, those were some great times, when life was better & America was on top of the world with a great President in Ronald Reagan to lead us. God, I miss those days of youth! R.I.P., Clarence Clemons.

  • Give it up one mo' time for Clarence Clemons. Rite on brother. this song sounds GREAT it's been a long time since i heard this one. Sweet

  • Missing the Big Man. Clarence, you're with the other "Big Man" now. Keep playing that sax in Heaven! Music has suffered a tremendous loss.

R.I.P. Clarence Clemons...1942-2011. You're deeply missed & loved. Rest comfortably, Sir.

  • You made a lot of music, and gave pleasure to a lot of people. Your sound brought me happiness. Thank you really. Restfully.
