To be honest, I saw this game yesterday and thought it looked pretty fun. Decided on-the-spot to buy it. Brought a buddy over today and we played it in co-op. Despite its simplicity, it's actually really fun. Yea, I guess it's repetitive, but I'm used to playing 100+ hour RPGs which require days of grinding, so replaying several levels to catch the Pokemon we wanted was more-than-enjoyable.

OK let me explain this to everyone because for whatever reason no one seems to get this, even the people saying that thisgame is the best thing ever. This is and always will be a pick up and play game, it isn't meant to be something that you play for hours on end like other games. You sit down play for a few minuets and go do something else that is how you get the best enjoyment factor out of this game. If I had to give it a score I'd say a 7.0, it's a great time waister but not a hardcore game.

@PokeTrainerDragonBoy I don't make video reviews, I write for a magazine and the website that goes with it. Got lots of comments, and out of all those only one complained. As you said though, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but one can't deny that the game is pretty flawed. That doesn't mean one can't enjoy it, but I think we can both agree that it wasn't the game for me :P I do enjoy Pokemon games in general though.
