Not bad, I think, but the actual bass could be differentiated better. Difficult, given my natural left-hand ineptitude, but it's something I could definitely work on. I could play octaves, of course, against the lilting tenor, but that would give the piece undue weight.

I always loved the title(s) for this piece: in Japanese, it translates into "Waltz of the Rising Moon" or "Waltz of the Evening Moon". Both work very nicely, I think. I like "Welcome to Legend" as well (though I don't know why they changed it!) - it captures the feeling you get once you beat the game for the first time and start a new game. Yeah.

(also, if you listen closely, this is actually an arrangement of the melody from "A Clashing of Waves" - Ichihashi works with similar melodies in this game quite frequently; just listen to "Emerald Mist" and "Hard Won Nobility" and see if you can see the slight similarity)
