I confess I love WPFW--and for all the wrong reasons. Its semiliterate on-air personalities, its utterly predictable (but delightfully awkward) agitprop, its marginal obsessions and conspiracy theories -- all genuine comic relief! I especially miss Ambrose I. Lane Sr--particularly the 'I' and the 'Sr'--and his incoherent listeners. Keep up the good work!

the music is really good, the culture and lack of commercials is good also and a non commercial public forum for political issues is necessary but it should be objective. unfortunately pacificas political views are anything but objective, its made up of a bunch of leftist commie ideologues who brainwash idiots of garrets ilk into believing all sorts of dumb shit

What psyhobill and others of his limited ilk don't get is that it is important that political views not paid for by the corporate propaganda machine get heard as well. There needs to be more political discussion, not less, and people like the psyho never seem to understand that.

WPFW is a treasure...it plays the best variety of music in the area, it offers unique political perspective, and a culture just not attainable in these days of McDonalds Corporate rule.
