"Gray Bird" the timneh african gray parrot talking and singing. In this video she's talking to a dog "come here" "wanna go out?" kissy noises, whistling for the dog, and squeaky toy sounds. The funny thing is thing is she hasn't lived with a dog for 6 years. She makes door creaking noises, sniffles, coughing, and what I like to call improvisational jazz whistling.
Why is its beak white? Is that what happens when they get old? If so, how old is it?

Hi, thanks for the question. There are 2 types of african gray birds, the Congo and the Timneh. The Congo grays have black beaks and the Timneh's have a lighter one (more of a pale yellow, not really white). Her beak is yellow because, of course, she's a Timneh!
As for her age, we're not exactly sure, since we adopted her her. Based on the information we were given about her, we're guessing that she's in her teens, maybe even close to 20.
