This is the 'Song For Love' solo, from Extreme´s magnum opus 'Pornografitti'. They used to close the live shows with this ballad, opposedly to most bands that do prefer 'heavier' endings. A great band, it´s great they are back!

  • Mate, I'm sure that was about as close to the original as anyone could possibly get and I love the tapping part.

    Very cool

  • @armchairtheatre Thanks & pls sign!

  • I've gotta say that was quite perfect! I've got a question though: does bending and doing your vibrato towards the high e string give it a better effect? I noticed a lot of guitarists do this and it usually sounds amazing!

  • @IsThisTony Sorry, I didnt get your question's point 100%. If I want I can apply bending and vibrato to all notes/strings and with any finger (in my guitars, of course, strung with 0.09 or 0.10). As a matter of fact there is no rocknroll without string bending. Thanks!

  • wow! great man, what kind of the pick-up man?

  • @samlempok I think it´s a S.D. JB (bridge). Or a DiMarzio HOT PAF

  • Very good feel! BRAVO!

  • Wonderful take on a great song'

  • Great tone, nice playing. I own the same guitar. But find its a bitch for going out of tune after a solo. (Check out my vid Tom Sawyer by Rush which I use it on)

  • could yu send me the backing track man ?
