  • Does the carbide or diamond tip ware out? How do I know I am not applying enough pressure? Why use oil? Why not cut the same place twice? Thanks.

  • @tiredfingers99 - The wheel on the cutter will ware out but it will take a long time if cared for properly. The correct cutting pressure should sound like tissue paper tearing. The oil helps with the lubrication of the cutting wheel. Cutting glass is a controlled break. So if you have several cut lines close together then the glass will not follow the desired cut line. So measure twice and cut once, comes back to play here.

  • What kind of oil to use when cutting glass? Thank you.

  • @d7eleven Thank you.

  • does the lubricant make it easier to cut glass?. or you don't need the lubricant to cut?

  • @lepprakorn I couldnt agree more with you, this guy is pretty good but if he tried using those pliers on a long cut i reckon that cut would run off, why not just put the square under it and press down on both sides,Simple.

  • Well explained,Thank you

  • Its about time someone put up a video of how to cut glass even remotely correct.
