Starting Again - Volvo Ocean Race 2011-12

The fleet rounded the island of São Miguel in compressed formation, next it's on to Lorient in France. The compression and a dramatic change of conditions on the way mean the leg effectively starts again with everything up for grabs.

Even if cheering for Groupama, Lorient will make a feast to every single sailor of this incredible race. For many offshore races finishing in Britanny (may be elsewhere too ??) , the first arrived welcome the followers , I love that tradition. May be for the last leg in Galway ?
