Adam Schiff's health care town hall gets loud

ALHAMBRA — Angry faceoffs erupted between activists on either side of the debate on health care reform hours before Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff had a chance to take the stage at a town hall Tuesday.

I was there and it was genuinely disheartening. Between the phony uni-signed proponents, who called me a racist, mean and uncaring (actually quite funny if it weren't so serious), and the bogus panel of "officials" who were already decided on a bill none of them had read, I have never seen such a dog and pony show in my life. This is what got me to Washington DC the first week in November, B.S. meter at full tilt. This is a sham.

Completely agree. Schiff was condescending to constituents. It was a joke...the hired 80 years old seniors, in front of me who were bussed in by van, looked like they didn't know what was going on.

I did shout out against Schiff's lies on how much money we would save. Really? A trillion dollars of tax payers money is not SAVING us anything. This is NOT FREE HEALTH CARE for anyone. Taxes will go up 70% - and they talk about our insurance rates going up 30%. I'll take 30% and freedom thank you very much.

When they found out I was against Obama Care - they called me a F****** fascist, racist, I was pushed and shoved so hard I almost fell down and one lady who shoved tried to get the cops over to blame me. OBUMMER has been a LIAR all along! My husband I were planning to attend the meeting- coming from Ventura- at the last minute we could not attend- I am glad now that we didn't put ourselves through it after seeing the videos- it appears that schiff did all the talking and when he was done it was all over with- no surprising- thanks to everyone who could attend and SHOW SUPPORT FOR OUT AMERICA- WE HAVE TO STAND TOGETHER AND NOW IS THE TIME TO TAKE A STAND!!!
