  • I like your churchwarden. I have 52 pipes but untill now, no churchwarden, but should have one soon, waiting for the postman to deliver. There are just no pipe shops left in Brtitain anymore, you have buy on line.

I have subscribed to your site, and I am an old bearded guy like you :-) so perhaps you would like to sub' to mine too?

  • @538921 Done,. Thanks,

    Pops

  • Fantastic. I think this is a good method. I would like to ask a question. So a full bowl is too wet at the bottom, so do you just do half a bowl, then shake the ashes? Do you do this 10 times? I tried smoking a whole bowl stirring the ashes. Buy the time I got to the bottom the tobacco was so strong I got very ill.

  • @TheJetboy200 Hi There, I break in a new pipe smoking half bowls for the first 10 bowls. When I get to the bottom of the bowl, I stir the ashes and re-light to smoke it to the bottom. You subscribe by clicking the subscribe button on the top of the videos. Hope that helps.

  • That's a great tip. I also have been blowing through the shank to clear out the last remains of ash and I was thinking only yesterday that it probably wasn't a very good idea because of the moisture. Thanks for the advice.

  • @SimpaSmoker I hope it was helpful.

  • @538921 I just went down to Mayfair in central London, i found 3 different high quality tobacconists to choose from. I went with JJ Fox (some of their videos on youtube also) and was met with amazing range and great service. So if you're ever in London, check out St James' St. not far from Bond street tube station.

  • great advice, thanks!

  • Most interesting man in the world?

  • @538921 no pipe shops in Britain? i have ordered many pipes from tobacco and smoke shops in Britain. but maybe they're just internet shops?, not real ones, like you the ones you have so many in Germany. In Germany are plenty of great tobacco and pipestores.

  • proof that you can only smoke with awesome pipes if you have a beard.

  • Thank you for the tip. I m overseas right now and just started smoking pipes. I value any advice I can get.

  • you ARE the greatest generation

  • OPP: Thanks for your videos; they are very helpful. What is the overall length of your Nording churchwarden. I'm looking to buy one and like the one you are smoking here. Thanks!!!

  • I won't take pipe smoking tips from someone unless their old enough to be my granddad haha. Unfortunately for me I don't have any relatives who smoke a pipe all of mine that do smoke cigarettes which are wretched. I was hoping to try my hand at pipe tobacco when I turned 18 which will be in about another year.

  • I clean my Churchwarden every three or four bowls. I scrub it clean every time like new. Spotless. I find this works best for me. A clean smoke every time.
