@LenartS No one said that at all. What we said that it was made for 4 year olds. It sucks and parents will have somewhere to plpp their kids down to see it for an hour and a half. It won't suck for it's intended audience which is 4 year olds.

@thegodofallchickens No one is saying it is ok that it is terrible. It is a disgrace and shouldn't have been made. The movie should have stayed in Smurf village. My point is you see this trailer, you know it is terrible so no one should be surprised when it is piss, hence it is what it is.

Your wrong, Avatar is a great film in my opinion, while the smurfs is the single worst movie of 2011 nor any other decade.

Not to me, this movie stinks and a complete absolute dead zone, the smurf village look terrible, the CGI is atrocious, the acting is horrible, the screenplay is a mess, everything about was trash, the cartoon series and the comic strip had charm, this one has none of the charm and it's humorless.

It seems like film makers keep making these mistakes with IP's like transformers and now the smurfs. I DONT CARE ABOUT HUMANS OR MILITARY YOU STUPID DIRECTORS. I CARE ABOUT THE TRANSFORMERS AND THE SMURFS! sigh..... keep humans out of it.

@schmoesknow I haven't seen the movie, it's not really to my demographic, but I was surprised at the negativity towards NPH in this movie (I'm a big NPH fan). However, I love you're reviews so I'll trust you that he was overacting in this particular film.

My friends persuaded me to see this movie (online). And I actually liked it. Considering the low expectations I had and that I watched it in a different language so I enjoyed it :)
