Very nice! I cannot figure out the tuning for the song. It sounds just a bit off from standard?

it's standard tuning with a capo. My guitar is sometimes pretty out of tune, but as long as it is in tune with itself, I go with it.
Chords for the verse are Dm F C G, chorus (starting at "oh laughing man...") Dm C Am F and
at the end of the chorus you play C G Dm twice when you sing "cannot be done". Then you play Dm C Am at the end "so look for me another day" then when you get to the "rowing on the lakes of Canada section you play F C G a whole bunch of times.
