Mine is through a Vox tonelab into a marshall practice amp. I haven't bothered to learn the tonelab yet so it's gnarly. Both my strats are standard single coils. But one of them is a 74 & the tone is way warmer than the new one :)

How do you get the squeel @0:42 and 0:52. Is is just a high note? I'd love to try to emulate this in my songs using keyboard/Reason.

They're both harmonics. At 0:42 i used a pinched harmonic and at 0:52 a tapped harmonic. Not sure how you would get it on reason though. Suppose u could sample one in?

My strat has got humbuckers which helps. I use a Zoom G2 effects pedal. Only like £30 but has amazing distortions with little or no buzz. By the way i use a Marshall 250DFX incase you were wondering.
