Anxiety is worse than any illness I've ever had and I read Dr Claire Weekes book - 'Peace from Nervous Suffering' and I have just downloaded the book in audio format, which is great to listen to - opened my eyes to the condition and how it is stress related and is a control issue.
Need any help with it let me know and I'll send anyone details from the book. Just let me know what you need and if I can I'll send any help I think you may need.
All the best to Anxiety Sufferers!

I always get panic attacks when other people are driving, its usually triggered by a fear of looking stupid if I do have a panic attack, its just a vicious circle :(

NO offense but why do you say umm so much?? I'm not meaning this in a mean way at all. I was just wondering if it was a symptom from your diagnosis?

haha, I realize I do say that a lot. I don't think it has anything to do with anxiety, I just don't rehearse the videos and sometimes I get nervous and use "umm" as a crutch word, a lot of people do it I've noticed, especially in video blogs. I have been trying to stop though. :)

I'm in the worst year of my life and noticed that Ringo was going to be on some show called The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I don't watch TV anymore, but decided I would tune in. Sixty seconds into the show, I laughed out loud and almost cried. I realized it was the first time I had laughed in 10 months. I was stunned. And grateful. So of course I had to watch the next night... knowing he's had his own issues has been helpful, too, but what a gift to me. Wish he could know that.

I hear you, completely. The first time I watched Craig I was stunned to hear myself laugh out loud. I've cried about it, because sometimes his show is truly the thing that brightens my entire day (or night, hah). I just never thought happiness could come in the form of a Scottish late-night tv host, but it does. You aren't alone. I hope he knows too, he is brilliant. *hug*
