PS22 Chorus "Degrassi Theme" 2005

Happy to post this one, especially as it seems all too appropriate right about now..... This performance features PS22 Chorus superstar Deon on the soloing! Boy can saaang!

Deon was actually in the chorus of 2004. We brought him back for this performance. Somebody commented on the arrangement -- it's conception is pretty cool. Deon and I were improvising and he just started incorporating the song into the improv. I had no idea at the time what the song was! So I just left the accompaniment the same as what I was doing on the improv. The chord structure of the original is way different -- a little more cheerful.

Holy moley, Deon is incredible.

Bravo PS22, and double Bravo Gregg... I teach high school kids Bio... if they put even 1/4 of this effort into Bio, they'd be as awesome as your kids. ;)
