This is the Hermitage of Le Carceri (pronounced "lay carcheree") by English speakers. It has the only ancient Mediterranean live oaks left on Mount Subasio. There are some caves where St Francis and companions would stay in retreat, and there is a small monastery built in the 1400s by St Bernardino of Siena. I would recommend visiting this marvelous spot. The film is too fast. If it were slowed down, it would be much better. Thanks.
