Miss you, JJ.............as a kid, you were my favorite MTV VJ (although the others were just fine too).............sorry that today's MTV is making you spin in your grave!

No they did not and will likely not acknowledge their 30th in 2011. MTV is garbage now like almost every other channel that was once good. We had so many channels worth watching and now I have to search out one good one out of 200+ channels. I miss J.J. Jackson as well. He was cool and had a great personality.

Agreed. I don't even think they acknowledged their 25th anniversary in August 2006. What a pitiful shambles this channel has become.

MTV is not what it use to be...I love the original VJ's...Especially J.J. Jackson...It's so sad that he past away in 2004...R.I.P!!!
