I very much doubt that this man would be allowed to observe a session between the oracle and the Dalai Lama. If he was was allowed to attend, it was because he was trusted, a trust that he has betrayed by giving this interview. And if he didn't attend then, although he may have seen the 'oracle room', what he is reporting is hearsay.
