I understand what love is, nickchrist. You call it god, I call it love (but then real love, not some fundamentalist love that isnt love)

I am relearning real love. It;s an amazing challenge to match ourselves up to all the characteristics of 1 Cor 13 and see where we may excell in some of those and fail miserably in other areas. Makes me think sometimes that I've not really loved yet because LOVE is that way 100% of the time. It's such a wake up call

Pedophilia is a paraphilia, a sexual preference (thats not the same as sexual orientation, a pedophile is either straight, gay or bisexual). Pedophilia in itself is not bad, but when an adult man (or woman) sexually abuses boys/girls, then this is action is harmful to these children. Gays&Lesbians have sex with CONSENTING adult others. Huge difference. Rapists dont ask for consent either (hence they are rapists) and harms the man/women they rape, obviously.

Lol, I understand "consent". Just because two "adults" consent to ADULTERY or fornication it doesn't make it right all of a sudden (although we all like to convince ourselves otherwise to JUSTIFY our sin.) Just because someone consents with a poor child who doesn't know any different it does NOT make it right. In fact it makes that man or woman that much more responsible for forever damaging that child's life. Good news another got set free the other day. PRAISE THE LORD. God is so AWESOME!

The religious right has been so obsessed with the force of evil that they have BECOME the force of evil in America. They are left to what maybe you would call fundie and have NOTHING to do with having a relationship with JESUS CHRIST. Jesus never told people to KILL in His name but RATHER To lay down our lives FOR one another and for the gospel. He taught us to LOVE our enemies (NOT KILL Them).
