Former Ex-Gay Leaders Apologize

Michael Busse (co-founder of Exodus), Darlene Bogle (a former Exodus ministries leader), and Jeremy Marks (former Exodus International and head of Courage UK) issue a public and formal apology for their work as ex-gay leaders and the harm they caused to those they tried to help.

They joined Beyond Ex-Gay and Soulforce at an Ex-Gay Survivors Conference at UC-Irvine later that week

This mchue is unreal! He's still stuck with the old stereotypes. Is he in a time warp? Two brave Brit sportsmen have come out : Gareth Thomas, rugby international, John Amaeichi (NBA). There are others, but because of the homophobia of crowds it is difficult for all to come out. Clarke Carlisle, PFA chairman, on BBC question time (it's on youtube) confirms this.

You use inflammatory language like "pro" gay, implying that the better idea would be "con" gay and wipe them out, Hitler style. If all the gays on earth were GONE, straights would still be producing them in the SAME percentage. Most gays ONLY want ACCEPTANCE and ONLY rights to live in EQUALITY!

You may be right on this one mchue. I do not know from experience as you may be going by - you mentioned no source. NO ONE is 100% straight or 100% gay. We have inborn strong preferences to varying degrees. MOST men are strongly STRAIGHT oriented which WILL not change. A low percent of men are gay oriented which WILL not change. Some jump the fence when in a high same-sex living population, such as in prison or the military. MOST easily revert when preferred sex partners are available again.

Mchue, I suggest you actually read the scientific literature on homosexuality instead of relying on what is obviously some extremely bigoted misinformation you've imbibed.

I also suggest you actually talk to some gay people with an open mind. They're just normal people who want to fall in love like the rest of us. I wish you well.
