Michael Busse (co-founder of Exodus), Darlene Bogle (a former Exodus ministries leader), and Jeremy Marks (former Exodus International and head of Courage UK) issue a public and formal apology for their work as ex-gay leaders and the harm they caused to those they tried to help.

They joined Beyond Ex-Gay and Soulforce at an Ex-Gay Survivors Conference at UC-Irvine later that week

  • God created gays, man created the Bible.

  • wow! i am so impressed..... we've all made mistakes in life & it takes a deep level of honesty and humility to stand up in front of a crowd and admit making this kind of mistake. I am so proud of them.... "my heart was in the right place, but my message was not" What a profound thing to hear & I really think that is what is going on with a lot of these people. They have been indoctrinated with a homophobic ideology and those of us who are gay need to be more open hearted to these confused people

  • @GabrielMynd First and foremost, I have no interest whatsoever in "your ass", even though you clearly think you're irresistible.

90% of gay people report having been bullied at high school, large numbers are kicked out of home by homophobic parents, many suffer rejection by friends and the church and dismissal from employment for being gay. Many suffer violent bashings and many have been killed. Of course they're unhappy!

As to your claim we choose all this? Educate yourself!

  • so it loos like in some cases people may be born gay but it looks like most developed it by responding to one parent over another during childhood ages 3-5. if you chose it fine, just quit spreading the gay religion of 'born gay'. i see a lot of medicated unhappy gay people and if they dont want to be gay dont force them. if they want to be gay just keep them away from my ass.

  • @jones6119 i was a liberal until i saw gay becoming a religion of its own. as a christian to question their religion and then ask a gay to question theirs. same anger, spite, both devoid of intellect. one shelters people for their own good and should be more honest about things. one is just.....umm....gay....queer...yes animals do it but animals also eat their young

  • @sinisbal amen!

  • @GabrielMynd Too much tension with OFFENDING the gays now-a-days. I remember making fun of things back in school and saying "oh that is so gay!" but now its "in" to be gay and if I made a statement like I did above man, I would be slapped with a lawsuit, taserd and hauled off to jail!

  • If you want to feel God, you have but to look at the sunrise, the rivers, and the waving grass, to feel the wind in your face and the air giving you life. There is no more want to see God than that. -Wind Feather

  • @jodiroxx All religions of the earth disappear in time, so will Christianity and all the other made-up stories and nonsense.

  • @jones6119 u suck.

  • @LettheNationsBeGlad No one is entirely sexually oriented to be attracted to only relatives, plenty other fish in the sea as they say
