Ive jammed my finger twice playin basketball... Both in this year, 7th grade. I did themm both within 2 months to my indexfinger on both hands.

last month i jammed my finger while playing basketball with my friends, continued playing, went to baseball practice and found out it was fractured the next day

Ouch. I jam my finger alot and I asked my dad for some advice and he just recommends taping it. Thats what he did for football when he had 'student trainers'
Tape the finger up if its minor.
