The accent is northern English...not sure exactly where, maybe Yorkshire or Lancashire...

I've almost finished reading the book and I love it!
My dad got it for me cos he saw the tv series ages ago and he thought I'd like it.
Once I read this bit I started to wonder if maybe he knows more about me than he's meant to....perhaps he's more perceptive than I give him credit for.

The girls are such brilliant actresses! I'd love to see the whole series.
