looks like good fun! To be fair though, if I was playing that melodeon and had had a few beers I wouldn't be able to resist speeding up and trying to wrongfoot the dancers!

@theobserversableones I might surprise you then, to know that Morris dancing was, in Shakespeare's time considered "ancient" . This is just keeping alive that tradition of dances that were originally tied to the fertility of the land. Similar dances are done by the Normans as well as the Basques, for much the same reasons. That and it's a good excuse for drinking beer at the end of it.
