240sx 327sbc turbocharged 550sx!

327V8 fully built, gt45 turbo, 6psi,
kyb shocks, rs*r springs , tanabe sway bars, custom strut brace, custom exhaust, custom intercooler piping, new aluminum fuel lines from tank to engine bay, summit heater mounted in back seat, body kit, wheels tires, moved firewall back 5 inches , removed trunk floor and gas tank and installed aluminum fuel cell and aluminum panel as trunk floor. custom dash panel and inserts, megan racing seats and harnesses

@FDTA94 "...ew" know what you mean, at the time it had to be that high to clear the carb hat.

The bov was sharing an 1/8 vacuum source with a few other things,

bov has a 1/4 in port.

I tapped the vc jr manifold for a 3/8 port and ran just to power brakes and BOV

and surging went away.

after that it would open if I rev'd it to a couple rpms in neutral.

surging gone.

before this I was having idle problems because the extra air was not leaving under low load conditions and the idle was staying high.

Beautiful ride! The best car to me is a car thats not quite finished. Once its finished its like.. "ok, now what?"
