I Dont Love You: Chapter 19

Three weeks had passed from the kiss incident.
I hadnt seen Kevin and Arianna out and about since the day it happened. Nick and Joe had told me that they were fighting.
A small piece of me hoped and wished madly...
But another more realistic part told me to get real. He didnt love me anymore Not after what Id done to his heart
But, then, why had he kissed me that night?
It was too much to think about so I ignored it most nights. But others, I cried myself to sleep over it.
The air was turning colder and the first signs of fall were appearing. I realized too late that I shouldve enrolled in a college sooner, it was too late now.
Next year, I though But, where? That was a problem for another day. Today, I was going to Zoris house. She was back from Canada and I was going to go fill her in on the incident. When I got there, Zori gave me my present from Canada, which was a stuffed moose. I named him Rocky.
We sat down on Zoris couch and I told her about the kiss and that Arianna and him had been fighting. When I finished, she was practically bouncing with excitement.
"Yep, uh-huh, definitely," she said, "he still likes you."
I stared at her "Where did you get that from?"
She sighed, exasperated "From what you just told me, silly!"
The worst was that a major part of me really hoped she was right.
