  • Is this a high school group?

This is my all-time favorite song. EVER. I would have interpreted certain parts differently, mostly in regard to the tempo in the legato passages, but this was still very impressive... especially from the 6:15 marker! That sound is HUGE!

*goes to listen to part 2*

  • I think in the beginning they take it a little fast. Still a beautiful performance. My band is playing this song for UIL. We're trying to get it up to par. I'm hoping we'll do good. And I've got my oboe solo... Gotta nail that!

  • It's such a sad song, heard this played by MDHS at the GTI invitational festival in canada. Some great stuff in there.. the composer is genius

  • I can't wait to play this. It's so well written.

  • This is such a beautiful piece, and I really thought so until our director told us what it was about!

  • I did, i made a joke about it in rehersal and about 3 minutes later the conductor told us what it was actually about!

  • I love this song, best one we have played in band so far
