So back in 2002, I took a humor class during my first year at SAIC. I decided to make a Barbie coffin for my final.
This was made out of scrap wood in the SAIC First Year wood shop. I enlisted my mom to sew together the pink interior. She did a brilliant job.
You'll notice my shock when I undress Barbie. I was surprised to see Barbie in underwear. My sister's Barbies all went commando.

When I was a child, I used to shave off my barbies' heads, strip them naked, and color them with a green marker. I took a little spade and went into my backward. I dug small holes, and I buried them vertically. I made it so that their naked legs would stick out of the earth. Needless to say, I was a tomboy.

pretty cool idea, i always thought that the idea of a doll sized coffin was cool... hehe! i'm gonna make one for my mini teddy bear. but i think i liked it better without the paint, you know all natural like. but for barbie i think a pink coffin is perfect. also it's very cool how you repainted her eyes to make it look like her was "sleep". :) really it was just plain awesome!!!
