If you love liberty and wish everyone on Earth to enjoy the same freedoms as you do, you will enjoy Congressman McCotter's short but stirring speech on the Communist Olympics and human rights in China. Rep. McCotter spoke on 8-8-08 to the human rights rally and protest at the Chinese embassy in Washington, DC on the occasion of the opening ceremonies in Beijing. The protest was organized by Reporters Without Borders:

Congressman Thaddeus McCotter (R-MI) is a strong supporter of freedom in China, America and around the world, and has served in Congress since 2003. He supported a boycott of the Olympics and opposed President Bush's visit to the Olympics, which awarded support to the Communist dictatorship.

Transcript of Rep. McCotter's speech:
Representative McCotter's remarks are as follows:

"Thank you for allowing me to be here with you today. As we know, there are many American politicians who presently believe the best way we can show our support for the people of China and the people of the world is to attend the Olympics. I fundamentally disagree with this proposition. The best way we can show our support for the people of China and for the oppressed people of the world, is to today reaffirm our commitment that every human being is endowed by their creator with the right to liberty. That no terrorist or tyrannical regime can vitiate. But today while others gather far from this spot, let us tell the world that here today we stand for the freedom of our fellow human beings and that we realize the promotion and preservation of liberty throughout the world ensures it here in America for ourselves. Thank you for all you are doing for the cause of human freedom."

Here's more ideas of how YOU can help balance the expected uncritical media coverage of Beijing propaganda, and support democracy in China:

    1. Call talk shows daily.

    2. Write letters to the editor.

    3. Protest daily at Chinese embassies & consulates.

    4. Protest biased coverage at TV station buildings.

  • YOU can help overcome the Communist Party propaganda during the Olympics and educate people about the human rights atrocities in China.

Please help FLOOD YouTube with short videos supporting human rights in China and opposing the Communist Party dictatorship. Simple is fine-just talk right to the camera. Do daily updates.

Post the videos with tags and descriptions which include "2008 Beijing China Olympics", and post to the 'Sports' category.

  • China needs and deserves liberty, justice, and individual rights! The Chinese people need and deserve full and unlimited personal, social, and economic freedom!

  • Volleyball game today (The last day), Brazil vs. USA, round 2, Bra a bit behind, one of the hosts, ex Miss HK said: Don't be afraid, Bra won the first round anyway, a few more points, Bra shall win. Who the hell was afraid? Why should hosts give comments? They should just announce the situation, neither comments nor bets. Why do some ppl wish to see USA loses?

  • I support human rights anywhere in the world

  • To lock up their own people, to shut the foreign mouths up whatever her greatest imperial==China, does not feel amused even though no harm done to her.

    Stock index or currency can be top secret to the great country;

Thou shall not expose anything shameful to the world,

Or else sinful and shall be cursed.

  • The tyrants r right here in the US. Ask Al Gore he invented the internet and got a Noble peace prize for global warming. Ask Al Gore what he did with my human rights I know he invented them. I mean, I have to have a psssport to fly from Detroit to Chicago, I got no rights here in the good ole USA. Ask Al Gore I know he has the papers that will show you I have no rights, here in the good ole USA. Here in the Great State of Michigan the Police can stop you for no reason at all.

    I got no rights.
