  • This is tough to re-score without offending devotees of the original like myself. I'd say you nailed it :)

  • :) cheers. as a great fan of the original score my aim was to pay tribute as well as for the enjoyment of making a new score for the title sequence. glad you enjoyed!

  • Reminds me of something either The Goblin or Tangerine Dream would have produced.

  • @ the forgottenflesh: very nice of you to say:0) argento is a big influence on me. been a fan of him for the last 15 yrs., listening to this now, it sounds almost reminicent of parts of the 'dawn' soundtrack i guess. thanks

  • This is terrible, Risky Business soundtrack

  • @xboxgamer9991 To think how easy it would be nowadays to fix a mistake like that, digitally...

  • @chemadrummy It's actually to do with the aspect ratio of the film which was slightly wider than the cinema screen could show, so the helicopter could not be seen. When it was released on dvd you could see it there because the aspect ratio is more precise.

  • Wow thats so good!

  • I liked this alot. Sounds similar in a vague sense to the John Carpenter music of his films. Especially The Thing with the pacing. However, I couldn't decide whether it gelled with the film or not.

  • not as good as the original -- which has shrieking native american woman included - a vital part for subliminal themes.

  • What makes this movie such a masterpiece is partly the music score and partly the psychological creepiness involved (come play with us)! Hell, I remember just seeing the trailer for The Shining as a kid gave me the creeps! Oh, and this re-written score is pretty creepy too..

  • I prefer the original, but this is still good. You managed to do justice to the movie.

  • helicopter fail

  • mama !
