This is a Il-76 TD 90VD, with PS90A engines,.. the ''legal'' version of the Il-76 for west-european airports.

The engines are the same as the Il-96/Tu-204.

This engines makes the plane not only much more silent, but also lot's of extra power.

The first seconds from this video I saw it...... the engine diameter is much bigger then the old Knuznetsov NK versions.

@43447 Yep your right The Russian military is planning to convert all their Il76MD's to the 90VD's witch is about 300 200? I like everything about this plane axcept the front is flat unlike it use to be rounded and the engines are OK although I would prefer to my self to fly on the Kuznetsov engines :)

De Nada,....btw: Is Faro Also the City you live in?

I spended many holidays in the Algarve.

We went to Armasao de pera.

And visited many places like: Faro, Sagres, Portimao and the lovely place Albufeira.

So,....I've also standed on the place you made this video........very nice!

A good friend of mine comes from the Capital Lisboa.
