Sometimes when I am talking about something I like to use a photograph or another bit of video to illustrate my point, I continue talking but the video changes. This is how I do it. I'm not saying it's the RIGHT way to do it, just the way I do it.
:)
This is the video I was editing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dnya2ldHKgk

  • Do you know how to fade a soundtrack in or out on premiere elements 7. It's frustrating the hell out of me. But thanks 4 the tut very helpful

  • @Alonesoldier100 Right click the track and choose fade in/out etc

  • Very interesting... It's very easy! I still like editing with my old iMovieHD... Multiple video tracks are very cool! I would like to have that capability... Can you superimpose those video tracks like people frequently do with Sony Vegas?

  • Yes fehquig, you just change the opacity of the tracks. :) You can build up a series of videos on the same screen too. :} I don't know how many tracks you can have, I've never stretched it beyond 5.

  • i get so confused when i edit. i need you to come and teach me, lol

    xoexo

  • lol Eden, one day maybe! hehe - you are a wee bit far from me for me to come visit. :)

  • great, thanks for taking the time to show that.

  • @GrandmaDorrie Thank you. I figured it out not long after I posted the comment

  • That's total luxury! Someday I'll get Final Cut... Unfortunately, there are only a few editing programs that will run on the Mac.

I mostly got away with using long transitions to approximate superimposed video tracks...

  • you can get it at bestbuys from the looks of your video it kind of looks like the same setup too it as the program I have. Was only 50 bucks the one I got, they did have some for like 100 bucks. But 50 bucks was good enough for me. Esp since I don't need anything fancy,

  • I've never heard of that one chris. :)
