Big-production 80's English pop music at its very best. This little known track from ABC's "How to Be a Zillionaire" album exemplifies the era, and is one of my favorites. Make sure to listen in the highest quality to recognize the production value!
Am I the only one, or has anyone else noticed the nod to the Beatles' "Hey Jude" with the strings at 3:15? I'm sure it's probably intentional. Try singing the end of the Hey Jude (the "la... la.... Hey Jude" etc. part) along with it. it's especially apparent at the very end.
This is one *awesome* song, I used to have "How To Be A Zillionaire" on cassette when it was still a relatively new album!! This is a seriously kicking song!!
Oh my my my...... This was MUSIC in its heyday!! What A kickASS song at the time, & still is. Although this CD wasn't as good as Lexicon of Love, it was still at the top of the dance scene!! Thanks much for posting!
Fantastic song! Why they never released it as a follow up single to Be Near Me I'll never know, far far better than that awful Vanity Kills that was.
