I completed Greenwood in January of 2010. This was a piece I worked on while finishing my doctorate in composition at OSU. This piece was not composed for a class or a specific concert, only for the fun of composing.

Originally I wanted to write a piece in the style of the great Ballade in G Minor by Chopin. The piece ended up going in a different direction.
