Three titles with the Freddie Rich Band of 1936 featruring Bunny Berigan singing and playing a great trumpet solo on title #2 "Until today". Sorry to all Berigan - lovers, I really thought tehse are three independet clips featuring Berigan, but it' just the one Jim (Kpjjazz) aleady posted

    The numbers you refer to were recorded in New York in 1942. Danny Richards is the vocalist on "Me And My Melinda" and Kay Little is vocalist on the other one.The Band members were:

    Bunny Berigan; Kenny Davis; Bobby Mansell& Freddy Norton (T/P). Charlie Stout & Max Smith (T/B). Walt Mellor & George Quinty (A/S). Tony Estren (B). Eugene Kutch (P). and Jack Sperling (D).

  • I have a Berrigan record that I picked up about 1947. Somebody Else is Taking My Place on one side and Me and My Melinda on the other. Is anybody familiar with this recording? Ihave never seen it listed
