nakedjanet: You're right. Dealers don't force their crap on anyone. In fact, sometimes they'll give a new user a little for free, just to hook them. Remember, an addict will do ANYTHING for that next hit. Violent crime is no exception. And your argument about alcohol and cigarettes is silly. How many times have you heard about a drunk mugging someone for beer money? Or a smoker pawning stolen tools to buy cigs?

Ok people, let's nip any idiocy in the bud before it blooms... Mr. Mason is once again on the mark. BOO-YA!!!(albeit exaggerating the numbers of "drug deaths") The illegal alien drug smuggler got shot in the ass. He deserved that and more. The border agents should be rewarded, not punished. And finally, the CIA is not responsible for cocaine distribution in the US. Can we please lay that myth to rest with the chupacabras and "goat-man" of Lake Worth.

Western society it seems has turned a blind eye (apathy) to this sort of issue. Outrage has apparently become a thing of the past. As a bottom line man, I believe if they are engaging in criminal activity then treat them as a criminal. These officers were performing their sworn duty and in their attempts to do so, were vilified by the media and the courts and sent to jail. Where is the justice in that??? I weep for the future.

I never used to think so but they way that the Federals behave, there is no other explaination. They drag their feet building just the vehicle barrier and aggresively go after any border agent that shoots a fleeing drug dealer or illegal alien throwing softball sized rocks at them.
